Classical ballet
Rose was born in South Africa where she was trained as a professional dancer. She is a Ballet Master, guest teacher, and regularly invited to participate as a judge in competitions, auditions and entry & scholarship exams both in Israel and Abroad.
Rose arrived in Israel in 1977 and integrated as Ballet teacher and rehearsal Director at the Israel Ballet Company. Since 1982, and for 20 years, she Co-Directed the Bat Dor School of Dance in Tel Aviv. Rose is teaching Ballet at the Jerusalem Academy for Music and Dance, the Batsheva Dance Company and the Maslool. Rose compiled the syllabus for the Ministry of Education matriculation exam.
She is also presently the leading ballet teacher of Ironi Alef High School in Tel Aviv, the Director of Telma Yellin School of the Arts afternoon program, the Co-Artistic director of Studio of Ballet in Tel Aviv, Artistic Director of Vir2Oz summer and winter courses for Ballet teachers. Rose is a recipient of the honorable Israel Prize for her contribution to the field of dance in Israel.
