Composition Mentor, Improvisation, Choreography
Yael Venezia is a Dramaturg, artistic facilitator for choreographers and independent projects, Composition Mentor, Rehearsal Manager and a Dancer.
Yael teaches Composition, Choreographic thinking tools and Improvisation at the Maslool programme and at the Arts faculty of the Kibbutzim College of Education, Technology & Arts. Yael is A Certified Therapist and Teacher of The Feldenkrais Method and the Ilan Lev Method. Throughout her career , Yael served as Rehearsal Manager at the Bat Sheva ensemble, Anat Danieli Dance Company, Muza Dance Company, The Maslool programme. Yael is Currently working as a Dramaturg at the “123” project of Suzanne Dellal Center in collaboration with the artistic director, Neomi Perlov. Yael has worked with many prominent Israeli Independent Choreographers such as : Michel Getman, Anat Danieli, Noa Dar, Ronit Ziv, Hillel Kogan, Dana Rutenberg (Project 48), Niv Sheinfeld & Oren Laor.
As a Dancer, Yael performed with the Kei Takei’s Manhattan based Company, “Moving Earth ”, Synapa Dance Group, Anat Danieli Dance Company and independent projects in Israel and Abroad. Yael also served as an active member of Mifal Ha-Pais Culture and Arts Council. She is currently dancing on “back to October ” work by Anat Danieli. Yael has a Master Degree from Leslie Collage .
