Mai Caspi Emor is a producer, writer, artist, and cultural researcher specializing in contemporary dance and performance. She graduated from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance High School, focusing on dance and literature, and earned a bachelor’s degree in general and comparative literature from the Hebrew University, where she concentrated on creative writing.
She then participated in a master’s program in contemporary theater, dance, and dramaturgy at Utrecht University in the Netherlands.
In recent years, Caspi Emor held artistic management and production roles in various organizations, including the Reuven Moskowitz Music for Peace Foundation, the international residency program “Locali,” and as a research assistant to Efrat Yardai, Chair of the Ethiopian Jewish Association.
She also curated the exhibition “Tears of Memories” at the Abba Hushi Gallery and participated in the steering committee of the conference “Habitus in Performing Arts Schools,” initiated by the Mandel Israel Foundation and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
Her visual works, titled “Imagined Choreographies,” have been showcased on platforms such as WRITE-HAUS, ÁJÍFA Journal – London, and the fanzine “Hope Dies Last” by the Bush Collective.
