Classical Ballet
Studied at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart, Germany and the Iwanson International School for Contemporary Dance in Munich, Bernd continued his studies at the Merce Cunningham Studio in New York.
After performing with the Cunningham 2nd Company, he joined Les Ballets Trockader de Monte Carlo as soloist and performed lead parts on international central stages such as the Chatelet in Paris and the Bolshoi in Moscow. He taught at Princeton University’s Dance Department, and became Ballet Master at the Opera House in Graz, Austria before moving to Tel-Aviv. For the past five years he has been teaching all over the country and continues to guest teach in Europe.
