Co-Founder & Artistic Director of the Maslool
Performer, Physical Theatre teacher, Movement Director. In 2008 co-founded the Maslool – 3 years, full time Professional Dance Program, with Naomi Perlov. Offir teaches physical theatre in prominent institutions in Israel and abroad such as: The Performing Arts department at the Kibbutzim College of Education; The Jerusalem Academy of Music & Dance; Beit Zvi – School of Performing Arts; The National Academy of Theater Arts (AST) in Krakow, Poland; Context International Festival for contemporary Choreography in Moscow, Russia; Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance (SEAD), Austria; Beijing Dance Academy Aleph High School of the Arts Tel-Aviv-Yafo.
Worked with “Bread and Puppet” Theater Company under the direction of Peter Schumann and as a performer at the Noa Dar Dance Company. Offir created works for varied festivals at the Suzanne Dellal Dance center, Tmuna Theatre and The Cameri Theatre in Tel Aviv Yaffo and Ha-Zira Theatre in Jerusalem. He designed the movement for The Haifa Theatre’s Productions: 4.48 Psychosis and First Coming, directed by Amir Kliger.
As part of his public activities, Offir served as a member of the Cultural Committee for Dance and the Head of the Committee for “Dancer in the Community” Project of the Ministry of Culture and a member of Suzanne Dellal Committee of the Israeli International Exposure Project. He is Currently a member of the Performing Arts Committee at Mifal Hapais Council for Arts and Culture. Offir Studied at the Jacques Lecoq School for Physical Theatre IN Paris and at the Broadway Dance Center in New York. He is a graduate of Ha-Sadna – Professional Dance training at Kibbutz Ga’aton Dance School. He has a B.A. degree in Dance and currently concluding his M.A. degree in the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem
